Why Homeowners Call Adair Plumbing
We are plumbers, not salespeople. This valley is where we live and work, the people we work for are our neighbours, and that is the whole reason we will not sell you something you do not need.
Plumbers, Not Salespeople
Nobody here works to a commission or a sales target. You get told what is actually wrong, what it takes to fix and what it costs — and when something does not need fixing yet, you get told that too.
Same Owner Since 1978
Doug Adair started this company in 1978 and still goes out on jobs himself. That is 48 years of plumbing houses in this valley — thousands of them — under one owner.
We Stand Behind Our Work
Our workmanship is warranted for a year. If something is not right after we have left, you call us and we come back and put it right — same week, no argument, no second invoice.
Our Services
These four are where most of our work lands. The full list runs from reverse osmosis and repiping through to new construction.
Water Heaters
Installation and replacement of conventional tank water heaters. Most jobs run $1,500 – $2,000 installed, and we will tell you up front where yours is likely to land. If your unit still has years left in it, we will tell you that instead.
Water Conditioning
The water in this valley is hard, and it is what kills water heaters, clogs fixtures and leaves marks on everything. We fit softeners and conditioning systems, and we are not tied to any one manufacturer.
Drain Cleaning
Blocked and slow drains cleared, and where it is worth doing we put a camera down the line so you can see what caused it rather than take our word for it.
Gas Lines
New gas lines, repairs, underground runs and propane systems — including upsizing an existing line so it can actually supply a tankless water heater.
Everything Else We Do
How It Works
Tell us what is happening
Call, text, or send the form. Often we can work out what you are dealing with over the phone — and if we can save you a service call, we will.
We come and diagnose it
If it needs eyes on it, our service call is $145. That covers finding the actual problem rather than guessing at it.
You get a straight price
What is wrong, what it takes to fix, what it costs. If there is more than one sensible option we will tell you which one we would pick.
We do the work
Most jobs are done in a single visit. Our workmanship is warranted for a year, and if something is wrong afterward you call us and we come back.
Areas We Serve
We are based on West Broadway Road in Mesa and work across the Valley — from Apache Junction and Queen Creek in the east through to Phoenix and Scottsdale. We have plumbed homes in most of these cities for decades, including a good number of them when they were still being built.
Not sure whether you are in range? Call and ask. We will give you a straight answer rather than taking the job and turning up late.
Our Work
One job, photographed on the day: a slab leak rerouted in a Mesa home, from opening the wall to putting the bathroom back. No stock photos, no staged shots — just what the work actually looks like.

Why Valley Water Is So Hard on Water Heaters
Hard water is the main reason water heaters fail early in Mesa and across the Valley. Here is what it actually does, and what is worth doing about it.
